Is it too much to ask for a job with work? This is my second job where I am getting paid to surf the web?

I am sick and tired of sitting behind a desk and not doing any work. What can I do? I have posted my resume on a bunch of different sites and talking to many recruiters. I have an interview but in 2.5 weeks.
