2. These programs do nothing more than drive traffic to your site. In many cases the person who is "surfing" your site is not even sitting at the computer. The program is run automatically. If you want fake traffic and page hits for your site I suppose it's a good way to do it. However, if you run Google ads or other forms of ads and you get caught causing false clicks to increase your income, they will cancel your account very quickly and ban you from using paid ads again. So the question to you is: If you don't run Google ads, why would you want to drive fake traffic to your site if it really has no purpose other than to get you more page hits and a higher page rank? Those things mean nothing if you are not running ads.
3. First off, Pagerank is a value for web pages, not entire websites. This means each one of your web pages will have it's own unique Pagerank value. Alexa is a site wide value. First, auto surf programs and services are a waste of time, they don't provide any targeted traffic and are usually just bots roaming through their members list mimicing traffic. I would stay away from any auto surfing programs. Using these is also a violation of most publisher ad network programs (AdSense, ValueClick, YPN, etc). Futher, don't use Alexa for any ranking data, they don't even have %0.5 of internet users using the Alexa toolbar, so the data is very inaccurate and not useful to anyone. Actually the whole "ranking" thing is a cover for the fact Alexa is SPYWARE. This toolbar tracks everything you do in your web browser and reports it to a main server, which is then resold to marketing analysis groups. Alexa does not care about rankings, they want your data to resell!
